In response to reports in the press and the decision that the government has taken on the issue of Q fever we would like to state the following. The goats at our dairy goat farm, ‘Klaver Geit’, are free of Q fever; their milk is inspected for Q fever on a monthly basis.
Prior to the cheese making process, the goat’s milk is pasteurized thus ensuring that a Q fever infection cannot be contracted from our goat’s cheese.
