You will not notice by the cheese, but all the more by the service. The cheese makers from cheese dairy Klaverkaas moved into a new cheese factory in October 2001. The characteristic ‘stolpboerderij’ (traditional Dutch farmhouse built in the shape of a cheese-cover) was exchanged for this modern cheese factory in Winkel, North Holland.
The new cheese dairy offers the trendsetters of cheese dairy Klaverkaas more opportunities. Faster delivery times, a wider supply and a higher productive capacity. The quality of many years’ experience with the possibilities of modern times.
Machinery
Our machinery was developed in cooperation with Scherjon Dairy Equipment. This way an artisanal product is produced with the help of modern machinery.
Process
The cheese-making process is controlled by computer, so that a cheese as constant as possible is produced, and so that the traceability is guaranteed.
Warehouse
In 2006, cheese dairy Klaverkaas brought into use a modern warehouse, which makes the cheese mature even better. The warehouse has separate rooms, in which the cheeses are plasticised, banderoled and labelled.
